  • Cross Lake is located just east of the South Arm of Lake Temagami in Torrington and Yates Township in the District of Nipissing
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 46° 52′ 18″ Long. 79° 57′ 58″
  • there is no direct access point on the lake. Access by portage is via Outlet Bay which is located on the southeast side of the South Arm of Lake Temagami
  • while the lake reaches depths of 180′, the average depth is 39′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 142 km (89 miles)
  • this long narrow lake runs north south with the Temagami River exiting the lake on the south end
  • there are several public camp sites located at various points on the lake
  • the major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike and whitefish
  • Cross Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 11
