  • Anstruther Lake is located west of Apsley Ontario off of Hwy. 28 in the Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 44′ 40″ Long. 78° 12′ 48″
  • water flows into Anstruther Lake on the north end from Rathbun Lake and exits the southwest end via the Anstruther Dam to Gold Lake
  • while the lake reaches depths of 120′, the average depth is 41′. The lake has two basins
  • the surface area of the lake is 633 hectares
  • a public access point is situated off of Fire Route 61. Anstruther Marina is located nearby
  • over fishing for trout has resulted in a shortened open season whose aim is to protect this naturally reproducing species
  • Anstruther Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
