Ogoki Lake is a fly-in lake located north of the town of Nakina in the Thunder Bay District
co-ordinates: Lat. 50° 50′ 10″ Long. 87° 10′ 14″
the lake is part of the Ogoki River system which flows into the lake on the west side and exits on the northeast
while the lake reaches depths of over 40′, the average depth is only 12′-15′
it has a surface area of 6,477 hectares (16,000 acres)
while the lake contains a number of islands, shoals and points, it also has weedy areas on the west and south ends and the shoreline is irregular with many rock rubble sections.
