Lake Facts:

  • Jordan Lake is located on the west side of Hwy.62 southeast of the village of Coe Hill in Hastings County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 46′ 46″ Long. 78° 03′ 52″
  • a couple of streams flow into the lake on the west end and the Jordan River exits the lake on the southeast side
  • the perimeter of the lake is 7.2 km (4.5 miles)
  • the maximum depth is only 21′. The lake sustains a warm water fishery
  • there are rocky areas along the shoreline, islands and lake points. The lake is tree lined and there are a lot of lily pad beds in the shallows
  • there is a poorly maintained public boat launch off of South Jordan Lake Road that is barely suitable for canoes or car toppers
  • Jordan Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 18
