Kasshabog Lake is located north of Havelock along County Rd. 46 and east of the Petroglyphs Provincial Park in Peterborough County
this irregular shaped lake is dotted with dozens of islands and shoals, channels, drop offs, weed beds and bays
the North River enters the lake on the north east end at MacDonald Bay and exits via a dam on the south side. Water levels are regulated by the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority. A draw down occurs in the fall
the maximum depth reaches 80`
there is a gravel based public launch off of Blue Mountain Rd. 9 on the southeast side and another one at the end of Peninsula Rd. which runs along the south side of MacDonald Bay
