  • Big Bald Lake is located just east of Bobcaygeon Ontario on the south side of County Road 36 in Peterborough County
  • Big Bald Lake is connected to Little Bald Lake via Big Bald Narrows. In turn, Little Bald is connected to Pigeon Lake
  • while the lake reaches depths of 31′, there are many shallow areas that are heavily weeded with submerged logs, stumps and lily pad beds
  • the lake has an irregular shape with a perimeter of 21.4 km. (13.3 miles)
  • aside from the shallow weedy areas the lake also contains shoals, points, islands, channels and deep weed beds
  • Big Bald lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 17
