• the lake reaches maximum depths of 44′
• this spring fed marl bottomed lake has a fairly regular shoreline with a few shallow bays
• underwater humps can be found throughout the lake and provide good structure for both bass and muskie
• mil foil weed beds extend throughout the lake
• major fish species include large and smallmouth bass and muskellunge
• Julian Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
