Grindstone Lake is located along Grindstone Lake Road north of the town of Plevna Ontario in Frontenac County
co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 00′ 50″ Long. 76° 57′ 22″
this spring fed lake is 2.5 km long and .6 km wide
the perimeter of the lake is 17.1 km (11 miles)
up until 1970 Grindstone Lake was stocked with lake, brook and rainbow trout. Only a remnant population remains. Since that time the lake has been regularly stocked with splake
there are rock rubble and sandy shoreline stretches. The lake is littered with submerged logs and stumps
