  • this spring fed lake is 2.5 km long and .6 km wide
  • the perimeter of the lake is 17.1 km (11 miles)
  • up until 1970 Grindstone Lake was stocked with lake, brook and rainbow trout. Only a remnant population remains. Since that time the lake has been regularly stocked with splake
  • there are rock rubble and sandy shoreline stretches. The lake is littered with submerged logs and stumps
  • Grindstone Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 18
