  • Wilcox is a kettle lake and the largest of its kind on the Oak Ridges Morraine. It is part of the Humber River drainage system
  • maximum depths reach 17.4 metres (57′)
  • the perimeter of the lake is 2.9 km (1.8 miles)
  • it has a surface area of 55.6 hectares
  • there are no public boat launches on the lake and most of the shoreline is private. There are 4 town properties that border the lake including a Fish and Wildlife Sanctuary Area on the west end of the lake
  • Wilcox Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 16
