• Wood Lake is located along Hwy. 118 east of Bracebridge in the Muskoka District
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 00′ 48″ Long. 76° 04′ 26″
• 4 streams flow into the lake and one exits the lake via a dam on the northwest side of the lake
• Wood Lake is primarily a cottage lake with one resort on the south side
• the perimeter of the lake is 13.7 km (8.5 miles)
• while the lake reaches depths of 45′ (14 metres), the average depth is 16′ (5 metres)
• a public boat launch is located off of Fox Point Road on the southwest side of the lake
• Wood Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
