  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 54′ 10″ Long. 79° 26′ 14″
  • South Muldrew Lake is located along Hwy. 169 just west of Gravenhurst Ontario in the Muskoka District
  • South Muldrew Lake is connected to North Muldrew by a channel on the northwest end
  • this tea coloured lake is part of the Severn River drainage system
  • water levels are controlled by an MNR operated dam on South Muldrew Lake where Muldrew Creek exits the lake. The creek flows to Morrison Lake
    the lake reaches depths of 18 metrres (59′), the average depth is 7 metres (23′)
  • smallmouth bass can be found along rocky shorelines, shoals, point and islands.
  • Largemouth Bass gravitate towards lily pad beds, arrowheads, grasses and reeds in the shallower areas including the mouths of inflowing creeks
  • South Muldrew Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
