• the perimeter of the lake is 16.6 km (10.4 miles)
• this irregularly shaped lake has a variety of structure and cover including shallow weedy areas, creek inflows, points, drop offs, channels, rubble shoreline and shoals
• a concrete public boat launch is located off of Riley Lake Road
• Riley Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
