• Peninsula Lake is located east of Huntsville Ontario along Hwy. 60 in the Muskoka District
• it is part of the “tri-lake system” which also includes Lake Vernon and Fairy Lake
• maximum depths reach 112′. The average depth is 29′
• the perimeter of the lake is 27 km. (17 miles)
• it is connected to Fairy Lake via the North Muskoka River
• due to the loss of quality spawning habitat the lake has been stocked with lake trout
• a public boat launch is located on Colonial Bay off of Hwy. 60
• Pen Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
