• Orr Lake is a shallow warm water lake reaching depths of 10′. The average depth is 4′
• the perimeter of the lake is 7 km (4.4 miles)
• there are a lot of reed beds especially on the north and west sides of the lake that extend almost to the centre
• a public boat launch is located off of North Orr Lake Road
• Orr Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 16
