Lake Facts:

  • Morrison Lake is located southwest of Gravenhurst Ontario in the Muskoka District
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 52′ 12″ Long. 79° 27′ 16″
  • Muldrew Creek enters the lake on the north end and Morrison Creek exits the lake on the south end and flows into the Severn River
  • lily pads and weed beds in the shallower areas of the lake provide good cover for largemouth bass and pike. Look for smallmouth bass around the lake points, drop offs and rubble shorelines. You will find the occasional muskie here as well. Deeper weed bed edges are also good muskie holding areas
  • the perimeter of the lake is 16 km (10 miles)
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 55′, the average depth is 13′
  • Morrison Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
