  • this cottage lake consists of a north and south basin connected by a short narrows
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 9 metres (29′), the average depth is 5 metres (16′)
  • the perimeter of the lake is 5 km. (3.2 miles)
  • a sand based public boat launch is located off of Beach Road at the southeast side of the lake
  • a tiny remnant population of brook trout exists. Your best chance would be around the inflowing cold water streams
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, perch and pumpkinseed
  • Long’s Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
