Kahshe Lake is located in the Muskoka District south of Gravenhurst, Ontario on the east side of Hwy. 11 The lake is part of the Kahshe River drainage system.

water flows into the lake on the east end via Housey Rapids. Water levels are maintained by a dam at the west end of the lake where the Kahshe River exits the lake
while maximum depths reach 21 metres (68′), the average depth is 5 metres (16′)
the perimeter of the lake is 60 km (38 miles)
the major fish species include walleye, small and largemouth bass, muskie, pike, black crappie, cisco and yellow perch
there are many rock piles above and below the water’s surface so exercise caution
