  • Kahshe Lake is located in the Muskoka District south of Gravenhurst, Ontario on the east side of Hwy. 11 The lake is part of the Kahshe River drainage system.

  • Kahshe Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 15
  • water flows into the lake on the east end via Housey Rapids. Water levels are maintained by a dam at the west end of the lake where the Kahshe River exits the lake
  • while maximum depths reach 21 metres (68′), the average depth is 5 metres (16′)
  • the perimeter of the lake is 60 km (38 miles)
  • the major fish species include walleye, small and largemouth bass, muskie, pike, black crappie, cisco and yellow perch
  • there are many rock piles above and below the water’s surface so exercise caution
