• Gull Lake is located at the town of Gravenhurst Ontario in the Muskoka District
• co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 54′ Long. 79° 21′
• Gull Lake is part of the Lake Muskoka drainage basin
• while the lake reaches depths of 8.2 metres (27′), the average depth is 4.4 metres (14′)
• the perimeter of the lake is 7.6 km (4.8 miles)
• rainbow trout have been regularly stocked and now provide a year round fishing opportunity
• much of the shoreline drops off fairly quickly. Trolling runs along these dropoffs are a popular fishing method
• the shallow weedy areas of Lily Bay, Maple Cove and the south end of the lake are good areas to try for largemouth bass. Flipping shoreline docks will produce as well
• brook trout and walleye were stocked in the lake many years ago but the populations never established themselves
• Gull Lake is situated in Fisheries Management Zone 15
