  • Echo Lake is located northeast of Baysville Ontario along County Road 51 (Echo Lake Road) which runs along the south side of the lake
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 10′ 37″ Long. 79° 04′ 05″
  • the lake contains a single basin which reaches maximum depths of 39′. The average depth is 15′
  • this spring fed lake favours a warm water fishery
  • the lake is part of the South Muskoka River watershed to which it drains
    there are several shallow bays that contain reeds and lily pads. Overhanging trees, submerged logs and cottage docks provide good cover for bass in the shallows
  • smallmouth bass gravitate to the rock rubble shorelines, points and dropoffs
  • Echo Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
