Lake Facts::

• Echo Lake is located along Hwy. 169 at Torrance Ontario in the Muskoka District adjacent to Lake Muskoka
• co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 58′ Long. 79° 33′
• a narrows on the south east side of the lake connects Echo to Gullwing Lake.
• The Brandy Creek exits the lake on the northwest end
• Echo Lake is part of the Lake Muskoka drainage basin
• the southern portion of the lake is adjacent to the Torrance Barrens Conservation Reserve
• the perimeter of the lake is 9.6 km (6 miles)
• while the lake reaches depths of 13 metres (42′), the average depth is 4.5 metres (14′)
• there is a lot of good cover and structure for both bass species including rubble shoreline, rock outcroppings, submerged logs, docks, reeds and drop offs
• with reports of northern pike in Gullwing Lake it is just a matter of time before they enter Echo (if they are not already there)
• Echo Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
