  • Camp Lake is located northeast of Huntsville off of County Road 8 and adjacent to Algonquin Provincial Park
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 26′ Long. 78° 55′
  • water flows into the lake via Flossie Lake on the east side and exits on the northwest side at the Camp Lake Dam on its way to Tasso Lake
  • there are a lot of submerged logs, stumps and rocks along the shoreline offering good cover for bass
  • the lake reaches maximum depths of 140′. The average depth is 50′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 9 km (5.7 miles)
  • a sand/gravel based public boat launch is located at the end of South Camp Lake Road
  • Camp Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
