• Bass Lake is part of the Muskoka River/Lake Rosseau drainage basin
• while the lake reaches maximum depths of 11.7 metres (38′), the average depth is 4.3 metres (14′)
• the perimeter of the lake is 9.3 km (5.8 miles)
• submerged logs, brush, reeds, docks and overhanging shoreline trees provide excellent cover for fish
• a public boat launch is located on the north end of the lake off of Hwy. 69
• major fish species include large and smallmouth bass and yellow percch
• Bass Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
