  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 36′ 12″ Long. 79° 30′ 24″
  • Bass Lake is located just west of Orillia Ontario along Hwy. 12 in the Simcoe District
  • Bass Lake Provincial Park is located along the east side of the lake. There are several public boat launch on the lake: one is within the park, a second at the end of 13th Line and a third at the end of Bass Line
  • the lake reaches depths of 30’+
  • overhanging trees and weed beds on the shallower west side of the lake are good largemouth bass holding areas. The drop offs near the deeper waters of the east side as well as the underwater humps are smallmouth bass hangouts
  • shorefishing can be done from the docks within the park
  • Bass Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 16
