• the Rankin River series of lakes (Sky, Isaac, spry and Boat) are shallow with lots of wild rice, cat tail banks, lily pads and reed beds providing excellent cover for bass and pike
• Chesley and Gould Lake contain walleye
• the South Bruce Peninsula lakes are situated within Fisheries Management Zone 16
