• Whalley Lake is located north of the town of Magnetawan along Hwy. 124 in the Parry Sound District
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 42′ Long. 79° 40′
• 4 creeks flow into the lake and Jenkins Creek flows out on the south east side
• the lake has a surface area of 96 hectares
• the perimeter is 6.4 km (4 miles)
• the lake is quite shallow and has weed bed areas
• maximum depths only reach just over 11′. The average depth is only 6′. The lake has rock shoal areas along the shoreline and points
• a public boat launch is located on the south end of the lake at the end on Whalley Lake Road
• major fish species include large and smallmouth bass and black crappie
• Whalley Lake is situated within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 15
