• Lorimer Lake is located on the west side of Hwy. 124 north of McKellar in the Parry Sound District
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 32′ 41″ Long. 79° 57′ 31″
• Lorimer is primarily a cottage lake. It is long and narrow and reaches depths in excess of 80′
  there are many shallow weedy bays providing good cover for bass and pike
• there are a series of islands which dot the lake from one end to the other
• fish holding structure include narrows, points, shoals, rubble shorelines and steep drop offs
• Lorimer Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
