  • Loon Lake (also known as Pevensey Lake) is located east of Burk’s Falls Ontario in the Parry Sound District
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 40′ 08″ Long. 79° 13′ 08″
  • the lake is part of the Magnetawan River drainage basin. Water levels are regulated by a dam on the south side of the lake
    the lake reaches a maximum depth of 26 metres (85′). The average depth is 7 metres (23′)
  • the perimeter of the lake is 8 km. (5 miles) and the surface area is 156 hectares
  • the lake is regularly stocked with lake trout
  • a public boat launch is located beside the dam on the south end
