Loon Lake (also known as Pevensey Lake) is located east of Burk’s Falls Ontario in the Parry Sound District

the lake is part of the Magnetawan River drainage basin. Water levels are regulated by a dam on the south side of the lake
the lake reaches a maximum depth of 26 metres (85′). The average depth is 7 metres (23′)
the perimeter of the lake is 8 km. (5 miles) and the surface area is 156 hectares
the lake is regularly stocked with lake trout
a public boat launch is located beside the dam on the south end
Loon Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
