Lake Species:  Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Cisco, Yellow Perch, Black Crappie

  • Healey Lake is located north of Mactier west of Hwy 400 in the Parry Sound District
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 04′ 57″ Long. 79° 11′ 22″
  • a number of streams flow into the lake. Water exits the west end via a dam which regulates the water levels. The lake is part of the Moon River watershed
  • the perimeter of the lake is 55.7 km (35 miles)
  • the lake is long and narrow and runs in an east west direction.
  • while maximum depths reach 75′, the average depth is 18′
  • a public boat launch is located on the east end of the lake off of Healey Lake Road. There are a couple of marinas on either side of the boat launch
  • major fish species include large and smallmouth bass, northern pike, cisco, yellow perch and black crappie
  • Healey Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 15
