• the lake consists of several basins: Little Doe, Middle Doe and Big Doe. Two channels connect the basins
• the deepest area of the lake (Little Doe) reaches 95`
• the lake has a sandy bottom
• the Magnetawan River exits the lake on the north end
• Doe Lake is within Fisheries Management Zone 15
