Lake Facts:
Raleigh Lake is located on the south side of Hwy17 20 km west of Ignace Ontario in the Kenora District
co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 25′ Long. 91° 55′
the lake has an irregular shape and consists of 3 sections connected by 2 short narrows. There are many islands, bays, sandbars, peninsulas
the perimeter is approx. 60 km (38 miles)
the lake has a reputation as a numbers lake for lake trout. As in other lakes the best times would be in the spring and early September before the season closes. Focus on shallower water around underwater humps and shoals, points, islands and drop offs
a public boat launch is located on the north end of the lake
the major fish species is lake trout. Yellow perch are also available
Raleigh Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 5
