• Minnitaki Lake is part of a group of lakes that are part of the English River system
• this deep cold water lake reaches depths of 159′ in the central basin where most of the lake trout are located
• the densely wooded shoreline is irregular with stretches of rock rubble and sand as well as fallen trees and submerged logs
• the lake is approx. 40 km. long and 15 km. at its widest
• the major fish species include smallmouth bass, pike, walleye, lake trout, whitefish, perch and a small population of muskie
• Minnitaki Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 4
