Longbow Lake provides an access to Lake of the Woods from its southwest corner by means of an electric conveyor boat lift
the eastern section of the lake reaches depths of 80′
the lake has a variety of structure and cover including shallow weedy bays, points, narrows, submerged humps, rock rubble shoreline stretches, islands, quick and shallow tapering drop offs
boat launching facilities are located on the east end of the lake just off of Longbow Lake Road
Longbow Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 5
