• Dinorwic Lake is located 32 km. east of Dryden along Hwy 17 in the Kenora District of northwestern Ontario
• co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 37′ 36″ Long. 92° 33′ 26″
• the 16 km long lake is part of the 9 lake Wabigoon/Dinorwic chain. It is fed by the Wabigoon River and several smaller creeks
• the shorelines are littered with submerged logs, fallen trees and weed beds. Much of the bank is composed of clay which helps to stain the water
• the lake is fairly shallow with maximum depths reaching 27′. The average depth is approx. 13′
• the perimeter of the lake is 126 km. (79 miles)
• there are many shoal areas, islands, channels and bays
• special regulations apply to muskie in order to maintain a trophy fishery
• Dinorwic Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 5
