• Cygnet Lake is located west of Minaki Ontario in the Kenora District
• co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 59′ 37″ Long. 94° 52′ 48″
• the Cygnet River enters the lake on the south end and exits the north end and continues on to Swan Lake
• while maximum depths reach 11 metres (36′), the average depth is 4 metres (13′)
• the lake has a variety of structure and cover providing excellent habitat for the major fish species of the lake
• Cygnet Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 5
