• co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 00′ 12″ Long. 91° 58′ 07″
• the clear cold water lake reaches depths of 240′. The average depth is 89′
• the perimeter of the lake is 54 km. (34 miles)
• with the exception of a few relatively shallow bays, the water drops off fairly quickly along shorelines that consist largely of sand beaches
• a short portage from the north end of the lake brings you to White Otter Lake
• Clearwater West Lake is situated within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 5
