  • Agimak Lake is located on the south side of Hwy. 17 at the town of Ignace, Northwestern Ontario in the Kenora District
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 23′ Long. 91° 41′
  • while the lake reaches depths of 52′, the average depth is 10′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 35 km. (22 miles)
  • water flows into the lake on the south end from McNamara Lake and exits via the Agimak River on the northeast side
  • the major fish species include northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass yellow perch and whitefish
  • a public boat launch is located on the north end of the lake along West Beach Drive
  • Agimak Lake is situated within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 5
