Wawa Lake is located beside the town of Wawa Ontario in the District of Algoma

11 creeks and streams flow into the lake. The Wawa Creek exits the lake on the southwest end
this spring fed lake consists of two basins. The larger and deeper western basin reaches maximum depths of 108′ and is more productive for trout in the summer months

the perimeter of the lake is 20 km (12.6 miles)
the surface area of the lake is 677 hectares (1,674 acres)
the lake hosts an annual winter lake trout ice fishing derby
a good concrete boat launch is located at William Teddy Park
the major fish species include lake trout, whitefish, rainbow trout and yellow perch
