  • the Whitefish Lake Indian First Nation is located along the northeastern shore and islands of the lake
  • Panache is a deep, cold clear water lake. It consists of a number of basins including 7 which are 100′ of more
  • while the lake reaches depths of 185′, the average depth is 48′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 267 km (166 miles)
  • the surface area is 7,734 hectares (19,112 acres)
  • water levels are regulated by the Walker Dam which was reconstructed in 2002. It is located on the southwest side of the lake
  • a public boat launch is located adjacent to the helicopter launch/landing pad at Marina Bay
  • Panache Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 10
