Lake Facts:
Obashkong Lake is located northeast of the town of Temagami Ontario in the District of Nipissing
co-ordinates: Lat. 47° 07′ Long. 79° 40′
a couple of creeks flow into the lake on the north end. The lake connects to Cassels Lake on the south end
Obashkong Lake is quite shallow and only reaches a depth of 27′ at the north end
the perimeter of the lake is approx. 7.6 km (4.8 miles)
the shoreline consists of rocky rubble and offers long stretches of trolling water for walleye
try the bays on the north end of the lake for northern pike and bass
access to the lake is from Cassels Lake which can be accessed from a public boat launch along Gillies Road
Obashkong Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 11
