  • Obashkong Lake is located northeast of the town of Temagami Ontario in the District of Nipissing
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 47° 07′ Long. 79° 40′
  • a couple of creeks flow into the lake on the north end. The lake connects to Cassels Lake on the south end
  • Obashkong Lake is quite shallow and only reaches a depth of 27′ at the north end
  • the perimeter of the lake is approx. 7.6 km (4.8 miles)
  • the shoreline consists of rocky rubble and offers long stretches of trolling water for walleye
  • try the bays on the north end of the lake for northern pike and bass
    access to the lake is from Cassels Lake which can be accessed from a public boat launch along Gillies Road
  • Obashkong Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 11
