• Nagagamisis Lake is located on the east side of Hwy. 631 north of Hornepayne Ontario in the District of Algoma
• co-ordinates: Lat. 49° 28′ 38″ Long. 84° 39′ 26″
• the Nagagamisis River flows into the lake on the southwest end and exits the northeast side
• the lake sits within Nagagamisis Provincial Park
• while the lake reaches maximum depths of 40′, the average depth is 12′. It supports a warm water fishery
• the perimeter of the lake is 57 km (36 miles)
• the surface area is2,331 hectares (5,760 acres)
• the river and creek inflows are good early season walleye areas
• a public boat launch is located in the provincial park
• the major fish species include walleye, northern pike, perch, whitefish and cisco (herring)
• Nagagamisis Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 7
