the surface area of the lake is 5,362 hectares (13,251 acres)
the lake has a wide variety of structure and cover including gently sloping bottoms, quick drop offs, points, island clusters, rocky shorelines, shoals, weedbeds, current flows and weed lines(especially along the eastern basin shoreline
