  • Muskosung Lake is located off of Hwy. 575 near the town of Field Ontario north of Sturgeon Falls in the District of Nipissing
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 46° 29′ 29″ Long. 80° 02′ 47″
  • this relatively shallow lake reaches maximum depths of 30’+. It supports a warm water fishery
  • the lake has a surface area of 302.8 hectares (748 acres)
  • several large shallow and weedy bays provide good cover for largemouth bass and pike
  • there are stretches of fast breaking shorelines and points that offer good trolling opportunities for walleye and the occasional muskie
    rock piles, shoals, points and rubble shorelines cough up good sized smallmouth bass and walleye
  • a public access point is located at the end of Muskosung Lake Road on the northwest side of the lake
  • Muskosung Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 11
