  • Jumping Caribou Lake is located south of the town of Temagami Ontario along the west side of Hwy. 11 in the District of Nipissing
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 46° 52′ 57″ Long. 79° 46′ 32″
  • the lake reaches depths of over 120′
  • the lake features a wide array of fish holding structure including plenty of islands, shoals, rubble shorelines, rock piles, narrow and bays
  • from Jumping Caribou you can access Ingall and Angus Lake by means of short portages
  • access to the lake is via a private lodge on the north end of the lake which offers the only boat launch on the lake
  • the major fish species include lake trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike and whitefish
  • Jumping Caribou Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 11
