• McKenzie Lake is located off of Hwy. 127 north of Maynooth Ontario in the District of Nipissing
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 21′ 51″ Long. 78° 01′ 22″
• there are 5 inflowing streams – the major one being Moore Creek on the north end
• the lake reaches maximum depths of 27.4 metres (90′)
• the perimeter of the lake is 12.8 km (8 miles)
• lily pads and reeds can be found in the shallows along with submerged logs
• the north half of the lake is set up nicely for lake trout trolling runs
• a public boat launch is located on the north end of the lake beside the bridge that crosses Moore Creek
• the major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass and yellow perch
• McKenzie Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
