  • Kamaniskeg Lake is located in Renfrew County. The town of Barry’s Bay sits on the north end of the lake and Combermere on the south
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 24′ 48″ Long. 77° 41′ 38″
  • the Madawaska River enters the lake on the southwest side and exits on the southeast
  • while the lake reaches depths of 133′, the average depth is 30′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 46 km (29 miles)
  • there are 2 good public boat launches on the lake. The south end ramp is located at the public dock in Combermere. The north end launch is located at the town docks of Barry’s Bay
    there are several sandy stretches along the lake shoreline as well as rock rubble areas
  • there is a sanctuary area on the Madawaska River between the bridge that crosses Hwy. 62 at Combermere and the bridge at Hwy. 515
  • Kamaniskeg Lake is situated within Fisheries Management Zone 15
