• Stormy Lake is located off of Glamorgan Road (County Rd. 3) north of Gooderham Ontario in southern Haliburton County
• co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 58′ 33″ Long. 78° 24′ 33″
• the perimeter of the lake is 5.1 km (3.4 miles)
• while the lake reaches depths of 80′, the average depth is 28′
• a public boat launch is located off of South Stormy Lake Road
• due to heavy fishing pressure for lake trout in earlier years there is currently a shortened open season
• Stormy Lake is located within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 15
