  • Silent Lake is located along Hwy. 28 about half way between Burleigh Falls and Bancroft in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 54′ 42″ Long. 78° 03′ 35″
  • the lake lies within the boundaries of Silent Lake Provincial Park. Only canoes are permitted on the lake
  • there are 3 launching sites in the park
  • the clear waters of this lake reach 75′
  • Silent Creek enters the lake on the north end and exits on the south
  • the lake contains several islands and much of the shoreline consists of rock rubble especially along the central and east side. There are steep drop offs in these areas as well
  • Silent Lake is located within the boundaries of Fisheries Management Zone 15
