• Sherborne Lake is located south of Dorset on the east side of Hwy. 35 in northwest Haliburton county
• co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 10′ 41″ Long. 78° 47′ 06″
• Sherborne Lake sits within 24,000 hectares of crown land historically known as the Frost Centre Area
• while the lake reaches depths of 115′, the average depth is 31′
• the perimeter of the lake is 24.5 km (15.3 miles)
• the lake consists of several basins connected by narrows. It has an irregular shape with rocky shorelines that drop off quickly into deeper water. A variety of bass and trout holding structure includes islands, points, underwater humps, shoals and narrows
• a public access point is located off of Sherborne Road. You can also access the lake via a portage from Big Hawk Lake
• major fish species include smallmouth bass, yellow perch and lake trout
• Sherborne Lake sits within Fisheries Management Zone 15
