Redstone Lake is a typical deep, clear cold water Canadian Shield lake with depths reaching 270′. The average depth is 72′
the perimeter of the lake is 40.9 km. (25.6 miles)
there are 6 minor inflows including the narrows at the north end of the lake coming in from Little Redstone Lake
water exits the lake at the south end via the East Redstone Dam
a public concrete boat launch is located at the end of Redstone Lake Road
the major fish species include lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish, cisco (lake herring) and perch
Redstone Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 15
