  • Otter Lake is located along Livingstone Lake Road (County Road 12) north of the village of Dorset in Haliburton County
  • co-ordinates: Lat. 45° 16′ Long. 78° 53′
  • half a dozen creeks flow into the lake. Ten Mile Creek flows out of the lake on the west end
  • the lake consists of three basins that exceed 50′. The mid basin has a large shallows area that has some weed growth
  • while the lake reaches maximum depths of 64′, the average depth is 19′
  • the perimeter of the lake is 7.2 km (4.5 miles)
  • a public boat launch is situated along County Road 12 on the east end of the lake
  • Otter Lake is located within Fisheries Management Zone 15
